Les Contamines Ski Touring

Having been back in UK for a couple of days, I got back into winter with an extremely sociable day of ski touring in Les Contamines with Emma, Matt, Tristan, Peter and Tom M. I've been sworn to secrecy regarding our exact location, but suffice to say that there is no shortage of good snow still be had. Winds up high have clearly been extremely strong, and as such the best snow is still below 2500 metres, as it has been for most of the season. Temperatures are on the rise too, so sheltered north facing slopes between 2000 and 2500 metres are the way to go for now.
